anyone know of a Roland sh-09 eurorack clone?
Filter or osc?
It was my favorite synth in my 20's

Thanks in advance.

Other than the minimoog there aren't really any complete clones of vintage synths in eurorack. There are a few clones of the IR3109 chip used in the filter of numerous classic roland synths, but the sh-09/2 filter used the obsolete BA662 and no-one has cloned that yet. However, one of the Din.Sync Superbooth videos mentions that the filter of their gilbert monosynth is based on the sh09 so perhaps it will make an appearance for eurorack at some point. Actually, gilbert might be a good option for you: http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2017/11/21/new-din-sync-gilbert-diy- synth-inspired-by-the-mc-202-sh-101-sh-09/

As for the rest, the roland system 500 or some frequency central's modules might do, depending on how exacting you need the clone to be. You'd need a suboscillator, which neither offer, though.

I've been kicking the idea of an SH-09 filter around for a while. My layout guy (dksynth) and I have talked about it a lot and we have some strategies in mind. It's not "next up" but I wouldn't be surprised if it happens later on this year.

if there was demand we might but if Jason is going to do it then it seems pointless wink

negativspace or phono1337 my SH-09 is quaking in its boots for either or both of you making an 09 filter.
