Author PLEASE SUPPORT My New Album - "A Little Miracle"
Jimmy Needs Coffee
Hi all, I am starting to make some moody ambient music by using Hardware Modular, synth, music instruments and effects. I think it is the best way to express my spiritual feelings about life.

I think life is a little miracle... every second in your body, all of your muscle, cells and DNA are moving, creating and living, so please don't give up to re-mind yourself who you really are.

“The deepest secret is that life is not a process of discovery, but a process of creation. You are not discovering yourself, but creating yourself anew. Seek therefore, not to find out Who You Are, but seek to determine Who You Want to Be.” - Neale Donald Walsch

It used to be that some where grateful when new music was posted. The net was overflowing with music back then too but not like now. These days millions of tracks are posted every week and most of them are really half-assed; poorly recorded, unmixed jams without structure, way to long and posted with a ton of excuses. I get why most people won't care about any of it, it's just not worth the effort to find a few gems.

Ten years ago one would get 20 comments on a new track on a busy forum. Now two or three is really something. However, it always took some effort on the posters part. You had to be active on the forum for people to care. It's the same today, the payoff is just a fraction of what it was.

You want people to listen to your album? That's a big ask. A single track would be more reasonable. Besides that it wouldn't hurt your chances if you engaged yourself in the forum and especially in the music posted by others. Some will return the favor. Others won't, but you'll start building a report with the community. In the long run it might make people start caring about your music.
