Eliane Radigue is the obvious woman who does amazing long form work.

Who else is there please, specially contemporary women like Jo Johnson.

Thanks,

Some of Laurie Spiegel's work is quite long form, such as 'The Expanding Universe'.

How long? Here is some longer stuff, but maybe not quite Radigue long, though:

How long?

20 minute minimum was the discussion I was having with my wife. But longer is better.

We haven't resolved the album/single piece idea. Like if an album clocks in at 3 hours but is made up of 10 minute max tracks. And do live performances count.

Else Marie Pade is often forgotten, I love her work just as much as Radigue┬┤s, both go under my skin!

Can I use the title of this thread as a band name?

Laurie Anderson has done some scores and longer songs/performances.

Had forgotten just how good this is, despite it being my wife's first christmas present to me.

As long as you call the first album 'They persisted' SlayerBadger!

Longform electronic work? Of any type? There's Suzanee Ciani including her collaboration with Kaityln Aurelia Smith. Wendy Carlos obviously.

Lauren Pakradooni who does a project called Tether, has been doing longer electronic/tape collage performances for over a decade now. Love her live sets, pretty noisy!

I thought it was only men who have the problem with duration.
