I wanna make some real lush kinda 8-bit pretty sounds (kinda like disasterpiece), and i stumbled on this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXu6RwD-ShU - and can't for the life of me. yall have any idea what he might be using to get this sound???
Electrostatic
Pretty sure it's the Qu-Bit Chord, shoved through a vca and filtered. Then looped and played over using the Ditto looper pedal.
The lush reverb sounds external to me, but similar reverbs can be created using a Z-DSP with one of the Valhalla cards.

Looks like all pretty simple ingredients - basic waveform (saw?), filtered, reverb, looper... in fact just what Electrostatic said. Mr. Green

The trick is knowing what to do with them. What that video shows is restraint and subtlety - a rare gift indeed.

look at some of the other videos and you can see what's in the case better...
REVIVER
Hmmm....perhaps MI Rings in the Easter Egg mode?

It's sometimes referred to as "Disastrous Peace", actually...
