Trying to recreate a specific synth sound

Post by jonen » Sat Aug 11, 2018 10:36 am

Im trying to recreate this specific synth sound:https://clyp.it/b4qygrjq?token=18247d02 ... b0d6d81305

But I am having trouble getting there. I first thought it is just a bunch of saw waves slightly detuned to create this 'fat' and dense sound and some added distortion. However, I don't seem to get there, my saw waves seem to have much less bite. Any ideas or tipps?

That doesn't sound to me like a synth. It sounds like a sample of several synth patches at once, layered, that have been looped at about 800 ms ( not crossfaded, just looped).

If I were trying to nail that exact sound that's where I'd start.
