seriously + 1

although you can do CV/gate controlled stuttering with the Tyme Sefari, but it's big. I think one could pull off a simple 16bit on in 8hp, only controls need to be start and end points and a gate on/off socket.

4-6hp wouldn't do the slight justice. maybe a 12hp or bigger. I know Steven's considered it. his unpowered devices are good as well, would be easy to patch them through something like that harvestman module

btw, I'll take the teaspoon CAS to the grave

Auction?

Why not just throw everything on ebay if he wants to auction these?

Could he make them more difficult to buy? Maybe have a list to get a chance to bid on an auction? d'oh!
shamann
He had once done ebay auctions, but I think he found that no matter which way he chose to do things, the same percentage of interested customers complained about how stuff was sold. With ebay, I think people complained a lot about what time auctions ended, etc.

Around 3 years ago he was posting about releasing his bit crusher pedal in Frac - I remember being on the edge of my seat excited for it, but then Malgorithm went to production and Squarewaveparade stuck to pedal boxes.

So yeah maybe with some petitioning he'd be willing to do modular panels

I once managed to get a CAS in my shopping cart back when he was selling them through his online store. Made it all the way to the checkout, selected my country from the list of countries in the drop down, clicked submit, then had it spit out an error saying that the store wouldn't accept orders outside the US.

Fun times.

I think the guy is a genius - i have a Teaspoon CAS and other stuff by him - if he ever made that in Eurorack - he would cleanup. He's up there with the MakeNoise/Harvestman guy's - if not better.

I respect that the guy isn't money/business orientated and is fanatical about the stuff he builds.

I've heard he's fallen on hard times at the moment and hope he gets back on his feet soon.

Got this email this morning:

after spending the last few months in and out of mental institutions the squarewave parade (which has only ever been just me in case you didn't know) finds itself in a horrible situation. i have nothing to speak of other then a storage area holding things that i hope to be able to sell and the worn out welcome of the family floor to sleep on

i need help, three words i'm not a fan of. but they're unfortunately true

so i'm selling everything i can and screaming at the top of my lungs towards all of the extraordinary (and completely undeserving ) friends i've made over the last few years through TSP for assistance

i have a few things setup -

the TSP RUMMAGE SALE is found in the forum here http://la-ac.com/msbd/viewforum.php?f=19 its where i'll be selling all of my used equipment and random other things. i'll try to add new items often so please check back

if you would like to make a donation there are a couple methods. you can paypal whatever you can to this address: salt AT la-ac DOT com or you can visit the TSP store where i have setup a few presets - http://tsp.bigcartel.com/

if you have any other ideas or concerns please email me at - sqrwvprd AT gmail DOT com

thank you,
steven

p.s. i don't have access to the tools i need in order to edit the main site right now, sorry about that

I hope that he is OK and gets back into producing his wonderful pedals.
