Hey Everyone!

We're releasing the MMF today.
It's an analog, multimode filter with a 12dB per octave slope. It has a very wide timbral range and performs equally well at smooth low pass tones as squelchy acid lines.

Check out the demo video here:

Interested for some more vids/feedback on this. Been looking at Doepfer sem and tiptop forbidden planet but something in 2hp instead would really help me out til I eventually get a 2nd case...

Will it self-oscillate?

Nice, hopefully the next module will be a phaser thumbs up

Is this a revision of the Filt module (minus the Notch output, and plus Resonance CV In), or a new design?
matttech
New design I think, as it's 12db/Oct (FILT was 24db)

I know the “LPF” was 24db, but I thought “Filt” was 12. Could be misremembering hmmm.....

Ah maybe you’re right....can’t find the info now

Anyone using this these days? Seen a couple videos but no feedback from experience in the wild.

Thanks!

So I ended up getting one. Putting together a very small case and looking for low-hp filter options.

First impressions: in general I prefer 24db designs, and this is less vibey than I tend to like my filters. But, it sounds pretty good - I think DivKid used the word "smooth" and I generally agree with that - and it's certainly very usable and useful.

Here's a lil jam from my 38hp (currently) lunchbox: Chord Organ-->MMF, LP out is the main synth, HP out is percussive stuff. MFB DRUM-01, all sequencing and modulation MFB SEQ-03.

Really Nice "lil jam" ! applause

I have this as well as the slightly wider 12db/oct MMF from SSF, which is a bit more versatile, but I like them both.

Thanks Mercutio!

Yeah the SSF looks cool too. I’m really trying to cram in a lot of functionality for a little commuter case but generally I think 4hp is more reasonable. This thing is LIL.
