i've build this nice circuit. It delivers filtered audio at the output, but not respond to freq pot movement.

I debuged: component and values, tested traces and conections. Changed the BC557 (i have the B version). Maybe i have to do it again, and again. hmmm.....

Any idea in how to troubleshoot to make it work ? voltage readings ?

Don't know much about the circuit or know how to debug it, but I have a working one if there is anything you want me to measure.

Good! I need to know the voltages at the pins of both ca3086. Put the freq an enphasis at the middle, take them off and measure each point in the socket.

I dont want to burn ca3086 ☺

Sure, with all the controls in the middle, and the two CA3046 ICs removed:
Here are the measurements for U1: pin 1 - 14
1: 4.4v
2: 2.9v
3: 0v
4: 2.9v
5: 4.4v
6: 10.8v
7: 8.3v

8: 15v
9: 10.8v
10: 8.3v
11: 15v
12: 0.6v
13: 0v
14: 0v

Here are the measurements for U2: pin 1 - 14
1: 15v
2: -14.7v
3: -15v
4: -14.7v
5: 15v
6: 0v
7: -14.7v

8: 15v
9: 0v
10: -14.7v
11: 15v
12: -15v
13: -15v
14: -15v

Note that I am using CA3046 (not 3086) Also, for whatever reason (I can't remember) I have a BC557B for the single BC557, but BC557C for the six transistors in the ladder.

Very helpfull!! Y have the same voltages except in pin12 that i have negative voltage in all the range of the freq pot. I dont know why...

Could you read the voltages at the Collector and Base of the BC557B?
