Running Win7/Live9.6 Standard. No Max4Live. I've looked. Can't locate.

Is there a VST or some other ~thing~ available to provide Euclidean patterns (drums, primarily) in Live 9 Standard No Max?

And what about delays (soft FX), ones I can control with Push 1 and/or the Akai APC40MkII? Or is it just better to use external delays on the interface output?

I don't have Live running just yet, I'm still building my computer. Hence the questions that a user would have answers for.

Thankies. hihi

Eckel by Shuriken.se is a VSTi that generates Euclidean rhythms.

It's 32-bit only and it appears that the website is down. However, the zip file can be downloaded from the archived page via the Wayback Machine.

Don’t know if you got it going yet, but Live standard should have Ping-Pong Delay, Simple Delay, and Filter Delay (not sure if Filter is 10 only or was in 9.x)
If that’s not enough, an awesome delay vst is the More Feedback Machine from u-he: https://u-he.com/products/mfm2/

Here’s an article on doing Ecludians manually

And a link to a (donation ware) session file with all (up to 32 beats) Ecludian patterns as midi triggers:

Thanks so much!

I'm more than a little embarrassed about not knowing Live 9 Suite has a number of delays within it's package. I've not got that particular computer built yet, so I don't have Ableton running. However, looking through the manual as well as watching videos has enlightened me a little more than I was a few weeks ago when I first posted this thread. Now I know there are a few delays built into it.

And thanks once more for the Euclidean related links ... I'll be sure to check into those resources. Y'know, when it's not 2:30am (like it is now).

lol lol

Excellent help going on there. Thanks once more.

(no longer monitoring this thread)

thumbs up
