2018 is soon to be over. Post the best track you released this year! Your personal favourite. It doesn't have to be the one others liked most.

ngarjuna

Nice acid and video, ngarjuna! love
Be Sandy?
A collaboration on a compilation.
A mixture of musique concrète and "old" software noises and processing (soundhack, csound, metasynth etc).

love love love is there more by your duo anywhere? or do you plan a longer release? absolutely love it.

2018 was a really good year for Calineczka with 3 cassettes on 3 labels (all one-takes on a tiny modular). The last one is my current favourite, not because of the label, and not only because of the length... Happy new year!

Nice! Keep 'em coming, folks.

Probably Neurosis, from the first part of my album.

Actually, the best track I've done this year is probably another one that will be released in early January, that that doesn't count razz

Without question the favorite thing I made this year, not even sure where it even came from, just messing about on my DFAM and Mother-32 and then suddenly this moody dark thing came out.

Dear all, here my contribution. Musically not mind blowing, but I like it because there is NO background audio or MIDI track playing (except some drums) so everything is live:

Wish you all a happy 2019!!

Hey people, I've been a lurker around these part for the last year or so. Since I started reading MW posts I've developed a small case. Pretty much had this setup for two months now.

The pieces that have been posted here are quite amazing - It's inspired me to drop a patch here too. It's a video I made. I hope you enjoy it.

My happiest accident of the year came when I discovered that a slightly wonky clock into the 4MS Dual Looping Delay caused it to glitch some lovely, random grace notes into an otherwise fairly standard looping melody.

And a shorter video of the same system (slightly different voicing) in action

These two pieces sound amazing. I love the lush tones in them.

This is probably my personal favourite from 2018. It’s so sparse and rough. DPO and TR-8 as the only sound sources.

It's a cool track! I'm amazed at how diverse the DPO is.

Oops - sorry - just saw your questions. No, there's not anything else that we've done. It was just a once off for this compilation. I think Leo might be a bit busy to do a longer release. It is very much the sort of sound I am interested in at the moment though so there may well be similar sorts of tracks from me at some point next year.

Not sure about best, but this seems to be the most popular one ??

I think this is my best track of 2018. And one of my fastest as well. All in all probably just a 45 minute workout.

I always feel like my last own is my best one, I don't often spend a lot of time 'composing' but rather do it in a flow and don't often revisit them either. Maybe I do it all the wrong way, who knows hmmm.....

I love this patch. How do you find working with the O_c? Is it difficult to get a sequence out of it?w
