2 multi-track modular jams

Post by Soy Sos » Sun Nov 09, 2008 8:45 pm

I thought I'd place these here since I don't seem to be getting any
love on "Production Techniques". These are sort of experiments in
running the modular as a "4 voice" sequence instrument, transferring
the parts to 4 separate tracks in real time and a reference mix with
minimal compression,EQ and reverb "In The Box"

Hey! Those are pretty cool! Something about the first one had me laughing with delight near the end! :sb:

Ya know what I'm doing now? I noticed that there is a 45 second difference in length between the two so I opened two windows, one for each, started the longer one and then 45 seconds later started the shorter one! :hihi: SWEET! They both ended nicely together!

That's funny! For the second one I just took the patch, made a few changes, changed to tempo and let it roll. I don't know what it is, but I just really liked the weird changing melody formed out of the bit and sample rate quantization of the CV from the triggered 143-1 AR.

The first one sounds like Morton Subotnick and Brian Eno got together one afternoon and jammed out.

Actually, so does the second piece, though on this one Morton took control.
