Have any here received shipment yet, and if so - how are you finding the instrument?

I've spent about a month with it now, building up a bank of my own presets, as I demo them here. I'm finding it inspiring and that it holds really rich textures. Plan on dropping it in some tracks asap.

Hi sduck, I watched that thread devolve for a month and wanted to address owners instead of everyone.
Kept Walking
I have one and love it. Got the 16 voice myself, had it since day 1. Personally I dont think I could ever part with it.

I have a pretty wide assortment of gear in my studio, couldnt ask for more. In the unforeseeable future I had to get rid of all my gear, I would fight to keep it.

I love my eurorack stuff, love my other synths, but there is something about it, how easy/inviting it is to play. Hell the presets on it alone I have had a blast with.

I have read countless complaints about fans, noise floors, hell even the power cord.

My studio is cooler than mosts I guess, fan has never once been an issue, even if it was loud, it is a giant device.

To me, it covers so many bases I wanted all in one, sure other pieces in the studio can do things better than it, i guess in their own right, but they are specialized tools.

I feel like in the pursuit of playing with sound for the next 40 years, I may not get bored with it.

My 2 cents.

Ha, yes, the other thread died a slow death. I own a 16 voice, and I believe I got in on the first batch. It arrived around the time we bought a new home, so I haven't had as much time really delving into it as I would like. It is a wonderful synth, I can say that with confidence. I don't think it's particularly buggy in it's day to day use, though there are some things to iron out. The UI really is a joy, and it's so quick to program. It basically checks all the boxes for me that the Andromeda did, but allows me to navigate much quicker. There are certain things I will miss about the A6, but I've basically decided to sell it. I can't justify having both, and I don't have room for both. For me, the biggest stumbling block currently is the lack of complete MIDI implementation, including external sync. In general clocking is not great right now between tracks. Past that, I hope they implement the FX as a modulation destination. But even as is, it is a joy to program and very useable. The fan noise, and noise floor are really a non-issue for me.

It's my job to watch problem threads, and that was one of them, for a while. While it did devolve for a bit, it got back on track eventually, going in the direction that you're trying to take this thread. I don't mind a fresh start though, so, have at it.

Thanks for the notes so far. I had a couple of specific questions too:

- do you feel the fm/ring mod implementation gives enough 'depth'?
- any experience with cv i/o or inserts giving good results?
