I've been wanting to hear this exact combo, do you have any samples?
I don't. It was a thought experiment. :sb:

Picked up a Trident on a whim a few weeks ago. Absolutely shocked. Was not expecting zing to sound like it does. Absolutely amazing. The harmonics are incredible and just like described; a harmonic ring-mod. Brilliant.

This seems really cool, but I'm concerned by the lack of sines, to give a more mellow pallet. They can be patched in from outside, but you lose the sync and close tracking that seems like a central feature of the design. Any users got any comments on that?

I'm not a user but I think you'll be OK with triangle waves.

Same here, would be great to have sine on primary and the second oscilator for softer timber and cross patch FM.

I've loving this oscillator! But I'm not liking that the soft buttons don't retain their state like Linnaeus. Hopefully there's a firmware update soon!

Unfortunately not. Trident is 100% analog, so no firmware.

Marco, as I spend more time with this oscillator it's definitely becoming one of my favorites. However, since the buttons don't recall state, would it be possible to replace them with simple 2 and 3 way switches?

I've been playing with the trident for the last two weeks and I've found my favorite thing to tweak is the Coarse Freq on Osc 2 and 3 when the Zing is turned up. Unfortunately there is no cv control for this :-( Its still fun to turn them by hand when playing but I really wish I could dial in some cv to do that for me.

That's what the 1v/8va inputs are for.
