CP3 in MOTM?

Post by synthetic » Sat Feb 09, 2019 8:39 pm

Did anyone ever make a clone of the Moog CP3 mixer in MOTM format? There are a bunch in MU format, is there a panel or something to make it work in MOTM rack/power? I gather that STG made some of his modules in MOTM format but only for only a few minutes. Thanks.

I do one. But mine comes with a 904A clone low pass filter bolted onto the output of the mixer.

I built for a friend many years ago a 16 channel CP3 mixer, only 2u width.

Last week I finished a MU Module with the Eurorack CP3 pcb from feedback.
It was a fast and cheap build

+1 on Peter's stuff. I knew someone was doing a DIY MOTM CP3, but I forgot it was him, despite being on his site a million times in December while building a bunch of his MidiSizer stuff. Super nice & helpful guy.

This is me finally looking at responses a month later. Thanks all!

Then again I just found a 6U wide Dotcom cabinet that someone gave me. Maybe I'll look for a MU format that's not too deep and start a new system. :)
