Win7 & Win10 FH-2 'Error 43' issue

Post by paults » Thu Mar 14, 2019 8:18 pm

FH-2 with latest firmware.

Trying to use the 'C USB' port for the HTML editor.

Win7: Device not recognized, Error 43. No 'C' in FH-2 display.

Win10: Error 43 with added info: Device Descriptor Request failed'

Could this possibly be a USB cable issue? Like I have a "charger cable" and not HOOK UP ALL THE GODDAMN WIRES cable?

UPDATE: After flipping over the supposedly "NO NEED TO FLIP" C cable, the FH-2 is recognized BUT.....

Trying to use the Chrome HTML editor just "hangs" when trying to read from the FH-2.

Does this thing work at all?

Seems the MIDI interface used by the ES GUI is OK running on Macs with Chrome.

Protip: say so in the manual/on the site

Protip: not everyone has a Mac

Protip: fix it on PCs
