I wasn't expecting such a commplex sound from such relatively few patch cords! 8)

Nice work, sounds like you had fun making that patch. Sounds pretty close to some pre Confield Autechre

Ask and receive!

VCS is being used as an oscillator, Exp FMing the Blacet VCO. Sine out to the Wave Folder - WF out to Borg in LPG/VCA mode. Borg to Quad VCA just for master volume control.

EG1 is being used as an LFO to modulate the Wave Folder's VCA input.

Mixer/Processor is sending voltage to the EG1 to keep the gate high. I seem to do this a lot - I need some "voltage knob/switch" modules so I don't always have to tie up the M/P with that task.

Noise Ring is the master "drunken" clock, output to MiniWave in Quantizer mode, to VCO. Clock out of NR to Binary Zone which is sequencing the VCS pitch. Trigger out on the BZ to the Borg for maximum pluckticity.

I think that's it. I really love this sound, especially the glassy blips at the very end of the clip.

:D It's not the size of the cords, it's how you use them.. or something?

thanks for explaining. i was trying to figure out what exactly the mixer/processor was doing.

No problem!

The other half of the M/P was going to the VCOs octave +/- jack. I think I had it "up" for the whole clip.
