br>mantiwhore |
br>Xaoc Devices presents:
Sarajewo
1984 Syncable Analog Delay Line
Analog, feature–packed and extremely playable bucket brigade delay unit with a truly flexible modular usability.
• Three 4096–stage BBD chips
• Delay time spanning from 20 up to 1560 miliseconds
• Syncable to external clock or manually tapped tempo
• Tempo division and multiplication
• Multi–tap topology with individual tap outputs
• Tracking filters for optimal clock noise attenuation
• Voltage controlled dry/wet crossfader
• Capable of self-oscillation
• Tone processor in the feedback loop
• Additional external feedback loop input
12 hp, approx. 350 EUR MSRP. Available later this year, hopefully.
Please come visit us at Superbooth 2019, table E220, to play the prototype.

br>clock-syncable BBD? That's amazing! Definitely going to check out the prototype on Wednesday @superbooth br> br> |

br>Finally! Looking forward to this. br> br> |

br>THANK YOU!!!! I have always been disappointed by the lack of analog delays in Euro. I personally only use bbd delay pedals or occasionally tape, so this is a definite yes.
What is the depth? br> br> |

br>Love delays, and this one is looking real good ! br> br> |

br>Looks great! Will it have voltage control over the feedback? Judging by the panel layout it appears absent so I thought I should ask. br> br> |

br>So happy to see another new BBD delay! br> br> |

br>x2mirko |
br>How fast does it sync? I assume that it works fine for slow clocks (e.g. 16th notes), but could I also run an audio rate square wave in there to get 1v/o tracking? If so: br> br> |

br>Nice to see Xaoc filling some of the missing holes in the Eurorack format. A true syncable analog delay was thoroughly lacking. br> br> |

Are there rumors of another one? br> br> |

Ah ok. Just a bbd delay, not syncable. br> br> |

What is the depth? |
approximately 4cm deep, two pcbs.

No, but you can use external feedback in, tap outputs and any VCA to voltage control feedback.

How fast does it sync? |
20ms is minimal delay with 3 chips. Anything faster is off the range of used BBD. br> br> |

Ah, is this what triggers the LED in the bottom right? br> br> |

Well, we would miss the opportunity to delay a delay... br> br> |

br>Since you guys are fond of expanders, you wouldn't happen to have any ideas in mind for this one, or do you, digital or not? Pitch shift, comb etc?

br>looks like a great BBD module.
I use a doepfer since a few years, can't be without one for sure.
This one looks real tasty. I wasn't planning a replacement, but between this and the ecria vintage flanger delay there is a definitive upgrade in terms of sound quality.... hope I win the lottery br> br> |

The thread is titled 'prototype', and Xaoc is working on several new things at once, so I wouldn't expect it too soon. Now that Hrad and Samara 2 are out and Odessa seems to be on the way maybe they will have time to get all these new ones completed? br> br> |
