Poly Sequencer: Sync any synth to Korg Volcas

Post by spacebrain » Wed Jul 10, 2019 10:15 pm

Hey guys,
This is a project I have been working on for the past few months. Its a 128 step polyphonic (8 notes per step) sequencer designed to work alongside the Korg Volca Series. Basically, it sequences any midi based synthesizer in sync with the Korg Volcas. Please watch the video for a full rundown!

I am thinking of selling these, as well as a DIY kit version. I will have more info up for this as well. It will include parts package, custom PCB, and preprogrammed chip. Really appreciate any feedback!

It looks good! Why not do it as a open hardware / source project? That way SDIYers can mutate it

Thanks for the input! Yes, I am also planning on releasing a micro hardware/ DIY Kit version with aim to make costs very low.

Thanks!
