Easel Keys popped up

Post by ResistSound » Mon Jul 15, 2019 7:58 pm

My Easel keys (I guess you would call them the sharp keys) have popped up. It seems that adhesive is no longer sticking. Anyone have this problem? Do you know what I could use to stick them back?

Yes - but super easy to fix. Get yourself a hot glue gun from your local craft shop, remove the old glue from the bad joins and reapply new. It’s very quick to do.

Yes, maybe super easy. But unacceptable on a more than $5000 piece of gear !!!

I had a 218e from the BEMI era.
The hot glue was a joke, looked like a child had applied it.
There was also a blob of glue so close to the edge that the
entire keyboard didn't sit flat.
Redoing the glue properly fixed it.
