Knurled/round potentiometer nuts? |
br>555x555 |
br>The nice, Befaco-style potentiometer shaft caps are now available at the usual places, but in order to get that small space to work with panel graphics it would be good to have a knurled potentiometer nut, rather than the hex ones. Seems like that's what Befaco uses on their own modules. Any suggestions as to where one might find such a thing? br> br> |

br>Perhaps provide a reference (ie images) to what you are talking about. I've read your post several times and still am lost as to what you're referring to. br> br> |

br>Ah, yes that makes sense. Sorry!
If you check out the images of the hex VCA here:
https://www.befaco.org/en/hexmix-vca/
You’ll see that the tiny knobs have little round panel nuts under them, instead of the usual hex panel nuts. br> br> |

br>Unless I'm mistaken, the thonk and befaco ones linked are for jacks, not pots, so M6 instead of M7. The ettinger ones were also the only thing I'd been able to turn up so far. I'll see what shipping to the states costs and if they'll even sell in a reasonable quantity... br> br> |

br>I was trying to remember why I didn't think this was workable when I ran across it before... It's because they have a €200 minimum order. But FYI if somebody wants a huuuge amount or wants other stuff, the full price list once you go through the rigamarole of logging in is:
10 - 99 piece €0.30 / 1 piece
100 - 499 pcs. €19.90 / 100 pcs.
500 - 999 pcs. €18.40 / 100 pcs.
1000+ pcs. €17.00 / 100 pcs
So you'd have to buy at least 1200. br> br> |
