Would love some help!!

Post by 3hands » Sun Sep 08, 2019 5:20 pm

Is there anyone able to solder surface mount stuff that would be willing to help me repair my tip top Z3000? I screwed up and connected it backwards in a moment of stupidity and need to replace the NE555 chip. I’m willing to pay for shipping, the chip, and your work! I would love to get this thing back into my lineup as it’s such a great osc!!!

Please let me know!!

Cheers!!

Gum is fun, but not on a cat.

My minds an art gallery.

Really!?

I emailed Gur, and he told me to replace that chip. I had heard from others that TipTop aren’t very good for repairing, but if that’s the case, I will email them right now!!!

if they just say to replace the chip then maybe go to the music tech diy forum and look in the stickies for the available builders/builder wanted thread there may be someone local
Instagram

Utility modules are the inexpensive, dull polish that makes the expensive, shiny modules actually shine - and stops them tarnishing too!!!
