Are eBay/Chinese BA6110s legit?

My gut instinct says that they’re fakes/rebadged/whatever, but otoh BA6110s aren’t super rare, and I can’t find any examples of people ending up with fakes... Just curious if anyone has bought one/several before and maybe ended up with a working chip.

Mine worked. Purchased from AliExpress. All in spec, no idea who made them.

Are you using them as a 662 replacement, or standalone?

Yeah, considering it as a 662 replacement in a x0xb0x.

Same here. Ordered 10 of them (they were quite cheap) from UTSOURCE eBay store for my x0xb0x. Worked fine.

I think I have some BA662's left from when I was sourcing my X0X...I had to buy 6, and I only built 2...I wonder where they are?

I also have one of the original Roland chips that I tore out of a 303 that was accidentally set on fire. (don't ask.) I tried it in my first X0X and it didn't have the sound I loved. I've been waiting to find another project for it...
