Korg Polysix KLM-367a CV/GATE polyphonic keyboard

Post by tardishead » Sun Sep 22, 2019 2:43 am

Any Polysix experts out there ?
I have been after a polyphonic cv/gate keyboard for years and don't have the money for a Roland 184 or similar.
Sorry not interested in MIDI
I do have 3 beautiful 5 octave Pratt Read keybeds. Single changeover contacts.
I was wondering if the Korg Polysix KLM-367a clone pcbs could be used easily for this purpose. I assume you connect a standard matrix keyboard to the pcbs and you can tap the CV and GATES.
I don't know the POLYSIX but there seems like some good extra features also like arpeggiator and unison mode.
Can anyone help?
I have been put off buying a PCB by vendors who say it would not be suitable. But I cannot really imagine why.
