Did ES slightly change faceplate on latest modules?

Post by Joey P. » Sun Sep 22, 2019 11:04 am

I just got a long backordered ESX-8GT and notice it has a slightly darker and more glossy faceplate than my previous ES modules. Is this an intentional cosmetic change, or just a tolerance variation?

Just wondering....thanks

Depends just how 'previous' your previous modules are. We did change panel supplier a while ago.

Thanks...all modules were ordered April-May of this year. A few were in stock, but most have been trickling in. Just received one of two ESX-8GT that are the last modules on backorder. It's just a little darker and glossery than everything else. Not a big deal. Just wondering if this is a new look, or just a tolerance thing. Also, thought it odd that only one of the modules shipped, as they were both ordered 4 months ago.

Thanks for the response...

Those all look like the 'new style' panels. Just a random variation in the anodising, by the look of it.
