Can the power in a mother32 case power other modules?

Post by orbita » Mon Oct 07, 2019 6:50 am

If I bought a m32 case that someone took the m32 out of, could I use the power board in it to power other modules?

Any idea what the capacity is and whether you can attach a flying bus cable to it?

Thanks

As far as I know, no. The power bus in the Moog case does not use the euro standard, your best asking Moog for more info. The Mother 32 has two power inlets on the back of the panel, one for Euro cases and another for its standard housing.

STG was working on creating something that would allow people to reuse their moog skiffs. He referred to it as a Boat Rocker. This was back during NAMM. Haven't heard anything new though.

You can convert it using a Synthrotek 5A kit (I have done this)

It’s just a 12V DC in, so other PSUs that work of a 12V brick could be converted to work in it
FS: Metropolis $475, Intellijel Dual ADSR $175 and lots more
