Any mixers offering a comprehensive 3.5 inch setup?

Post by 3hands » Mon Oct 07, 2019 8:35 pm

I’m putting together a live set, utilizing gear I want to bring out live and none of it is 1/4 inch. Eurorack... tr09 and MS20 mini.

Does anyone make a 3.5 inch specific mixer? Or even a 1/4 inch system with a 3.5 inch section?

Thanks!!

just get 1/8th to 1/4 cables. they're made by several cable manufacturers.

i think there is a little mini mixer thing that someone makes.. korg or behringer or something that's for 1/8 cables.

Korg Volca Mix. 3 main inputs and 1 aux in, all 3.5 mm (1/8 inch) stereo jacks.

I think the Vixen mixer by KVgear also does 1/8" inputs.

Yup, this. You could also get a 1/4” snake and solder 1/8” jacks on one end. Label the ends for easy set up.

Besides cheap, dinky stuff you’re not going to find mixers with 1/8” jacks.

Hmm...

Ok thanks everyone! It seems I may just grab an old Mackie, and then, nab a bunch of 1/8th to 1/4 inch adapters and go from there. I’m not happy with the quality of the Korg stuff when it comes to live stuff. I just don’t think the Volca stuff would hold up.

Thanks everyone!
