Buchla non-e Presets - using the 210e...

Hey all, I made this short video showing how you can get very basic preset functionality over some non-e modules in the 200e system by using a constant value voltage (here supplied by the 254 - but could easily come from the 255e etc.) then split and attenuated using the 210e.

Cool trick!

One thing I’ve gotten in the habit of doing is removing one module with multiple sources of constant voltage (255e, 256e) from the preset memory. Then as I’m building up a few presets, add in the constant voltage to non e modules (for me that’s the time machine, 262v, 297) to “e-ify” them across presets.

Another cool thing to do with the 10v in to the 210e (or CSR) is to route it to pitch offset and mix with whatever sequencer you have going on. Great for transposing and also for experimenting with various fm ratios.
