new planb boxes

Post by criticalmonkey » Wed Dec 03, 2008 1:06 am

so planb seems to be taking some QA steps - new boxes with sign offs and stuff

glad to hear - i really like the planb gear and Peter, based on a slightly intoxicated conversation at NAMM

hope it works cause i just ordered some... be here this week so i'll know soon

You must have drank yourself into next year! NAMM isn't until January 15th
Maybe you confused the NAMM Convention with the NAMBLA Convention. I which case, you are on the wrong forum! :omg: :aliens:

I always prefer winter NAMMbla. LA is rather nice in January.

Whatever midwest city they choose is always too hot in the summer.

Actually, he's correct. It's still 2008. This year's NAMM was in January. Next year's NAMM is this coming January. Just to be strict about construction, here...

Saw the boxes on Matrixsynth, nice. They look nice and sturdy, so they can survive shipping the broken module back and forth to Plan B for repairs several times.

Oh, come on, we kid because we love. :)

I just hope they use different screws on the cases than the ones used on the modules, and hopefully they won't undo themselves on the plane :headcrab: :nuke: :ghost:

i drive by that place all the time on Pico Blvd here in LA and I just assumed it was Peter's retail outlet... the logo's are rather similar.
PlanB was also the name of Brad Pitt/Jennifer Aniston's production company while they were married. it's nice to know there's a Plan B for almost every Plan A you might have, regardless of what you're doing.

You must be right around where I work. I'm a stripper there..heheh. Actually, I'm in Culver City lately for work. How come all these LA people never get together? It would be nice if there was some sort of monthly or bi monthly modular users group meeting to see new stuff, helpful patches, booze, trade modules, more booze. um...did I mention booze?

Would be nice if Noisebug hosted since they have the most space of the LA retailers. If people were interested enough, I have a decent size loft or could probably find a space downtown with chairs and all (like a gallery space) that could host a night every other month or something.

I also work in that area.

But I am not a stripper. Just a female impersonator.
