Author lowpass brickwall filters?

Does anyone know of a lowpass brick wall filter? Basically I want to get rid of that annoying high freq hiss that tends to come about with the voodoo that I do. The voodoo that I do deals with BBD clock bleed through and i want to get rid of that shit.

"normal" low pass filters will every once in a while not do the job adequately, or if it does it cuts off more then I would like.

I think it would be pretty cool to have some final outboard gear that would do this.

Probably overkill, but the Sherman can do 96dB filter or something like that.

Sounds to me like you need an EQ.
Cut out the specific frequencies that get on your nerves.
A notch filter might not be a bad idea either.
I'm loving the 15 bands of graphic EQ and the 3 parametrics on my Phil Jones P-1.
It works nicely for post processing the modular.

so all I need is 3 more filterbanks then!

a couple of 24db lowpass filters in series should do the trick?
