That would be my old one, I sent to it a wiggler here and DHL just lost it back in April this year outside Berlin.

RadioMusic seems like a good fit... other than that, maybe Logic / DC Mix / LeSeq / Osc (Sine)

RadioMusic or Le Seq would be my first choices, but they’re tough to find right now! And for good reason (nobody wants to part with them!!)
I have a blue blank in the 1FW spot of the 11FW case I have with the DRM-1/1X / DRM-2.

I see very often on the local sale site here this kind of pads or complete drum sets (mostly roland and alesis), very cheap and always think I should try, but the lacking of space in the studio (and the amount of things I have) hold me back.

My new MPC has CV outs so I could probably do some mad finger drumming with my DRMs and Radio Music. Or not. I’ll probably stick to sequencing or randomness for now!

this is grand idea - I dont have a drm2 yet but I'll be interested to experiment with pads/external drum controllers.

I've experimented with clipping a contact mic on a drumset (bass drum, cymbal, practice pad). It's worth exploring! All of my attempts were quite spontaneous and limited in those situations. (the cymbal was particularly short-lived as the contact mic flew off 60 seconds into the jam )

Having multiple DRMs triggered and some kind of sequencing would be so cool. Hope someone can blaze the trail with some demos!

That is a good question about drummers. There are drummers who also use modular, Peter Baumann for example but I don"t know of any who fuse the two. I feel some research coming on.

Not much of a drummer but I do like to play once in awhile.. drums are my favourite instrument to listen to/mess around with.
This definitely seems cool and would be fun to explore! Thanks for the video A100! I never would’ve thought of doing this.

I have a Grilles V2 coming.. acquired a Le Seq with two RadioMusic modules in a separate enclosure and have a DDSR now as well.
Trying to fill that 1FW space in the DRM1/1X DRM2 case.
Deciding between - Logic, Diode Director or Dual Divide..
what do y’all suggest?

I would opt for Logic if only one space. In conjunction with the DDSR you can do interesting things with your gates.

After a bit of research it appears that a specific Roland drum module is needed for dual zone so I’ll be sticking to pad per voice.
