RME FF400 & Behringer ADA8000

Post by stk » Thu Nov 18, 2010 6:49 pm

I have these two units, RME as my main interface, ADA providing extra I/O via lightpipe for "non-critical" work.

I'd like to use the ADA as CV I/O for my Euro, too.

Any test reports on using these with Silent Way, via the floating-ring-whatever non-dc-coupled workaround?

Thanks!

The ADA8000 works fine with the AC Encoder methods, and indeed with the ES-1. It's what I use for testing.

Output voltage is a little low for the basic half-wave rectifier, so you'd want the voltage doubler or the ES-1.
