2 model 15s, 2 doepfer LPGs, some extra modules to make the whole thing play itself, instant fun!

rubbery goodness! I must say I really like the Doepfer LPG sound - how are they wired? In series? Because that would mean I need two as well :help:

Brandon, your blog is way cool :)

The LPGs are wired up in series, yes, first one in vcf mode with a little resonance and then one in VCA mode. The VCF LPG is opened via a very short spike generated with one half of an A-162 trigger delay (I use it more often to generate spikes than delays), the VCA is opened with a longer trigger generated by the other half.

It didn't sound *bad* with one LPG in "both" mode, but I'm a perfectionist, and it sounded better this way. I think two is definitely the way to go if you have the case space (the doepfer lpgs are cheap enough, I assume money isn't an issue).

Glad you enjoy it. I'm still not certain it has much of a reason to exist, but feedback has been more or less positive, so it'll stay and get posts when I have time.

It was mostly created to augment my winter NAMM show coverage every year, which is coming up soon...
