Tomorrow, maybe we can add any modular related content to this thread that starts showing up? so its all in one place and we can start lusting about the things we can't yet have?

The only modular you'll see there will be at the Noisebug, MOTU and BigCityMusic booths.

Peter will have his cases and a few new modules. There will be some Plan-B modules in the MOTU booth for some demonstration of new software that does something with them.

Bob Williams from ASystems is out showing their stuff at the BCM booth as well as new Euro modules from Metasonix. Nothing new from ASys this year.

Since AH is not there all the other module makers will be strolling around untethered.

COTK is planning on showing up to winter NAMM 2010!

Woh what? Motu software that will play with plan b modules? FUCK YES FUCK YES FUCK YES! I use Motu software already! helllllllllllz yeah, excited to see what that entails. As well as the metasonix modules!
Chuck E. Jesus

Very cool! I see you're going to do a limited mini-jack run as well – do that TouchPlate in mini-jack and I think you'd make a LOT of (standard/mini-jack) Frack users very happy!

Also, this news is kinda hidden here – maybe start a new thread to make sure people will see it??
Leisure Cove
Bugbrand-- Everything's sold out already? Bummer! Will there be another run?
bartlebooth
and then there's this... https://www.moogmusic.com/

just the thing to make spacey sci-fi sounds with your modular (if that's what you're into smile )
MrDys
So...Where's everyone looking for their NAMM news?
chimologic
I am looking at Sonic State, they had a 'live video feed' that was supposed to start working today, but now they taken it down... so now looking for other options...

Yeah - I will start a different thread - that was just me being silly!

Hiya -- no, not sold out, just not produced yet! There's details about the system / purchasing in the Purchase Info section.. There will be some 1/8" modules before too long
pristak
The Touch plate looks like fun. I want to get in on the ground floor of this one.

I just ordered mine.

BTW, all these features are well documented in the 'hotrodding your theremin' document that comes with the 'etherwave kit', but to have it all ready for you with 7 solder joints is too good to pass up.

Now if only they had a modification to extend the range to that of an EW pro i'd be set grin

Yes, I was pushing for this upgrade on the Moog forum. The interface is simple but the pitch-to-cv circuit was complicated. I'm getting it!

no kit.. just schematics.
the 'etherwave kit' was all the parts and a populated pcb for building your own etherwave. Its what i did, and it came with a document called 'hotrodding your etherwave theremin' which is now avail on the moog site as a pdf that covered how to build the circuits for pitch/cv, headphone preview, etc. if you are handy with a breadboard they arent too bad.

There's a field upgrade for $149. It's easy to miss.
Chuck E. Jesus

EDIT: i mean i'm going to get it hihi

Metasonix R-51, R-52 and R-53. No real surprises, but nice.
He mentioned the keyboard. I'm a decent pianist, but it's interesting.
The KV-100 has me excited about the wide range filter.
MrDys
I really like the standard 2 tube, 4 knob, 6 jack faceplates. Smart move.
