voice -> envelope follower, env out -> BPF cutoff

Post by acidphakist » Thu Apr 28, 2011 7:55 am

Has anyone tried passing vocal material into an enveloped follower, then sending the control voltage to the cutoff for a LPF or BPF on another synth (something acidy)?

I want to try this but if it doesn't really work, I'll not bother putting the money into an env follower.

I do it often but because my 'vocals' (Term use very loosely) are not really under control, it's weird. It does work a lot better when I control with my bass. Borrow a MF101 from someone and try it. It's a self contained unit to do just that. (Envelope follower, LPF, Mixer)
If I have water in my ear, is it safe for me to listen to electronic music?
