it's going to be half of a module, the other half will be the noise source/sample hold. it will be 1MU in size.

we built and tested the prototype for the noise/SH board tonight.

basically everything is moving into SMT. this is going to be good in the long run but it's slowing development down right now because _everything_ has to be respun.

however when it's done i should have no supply problems as i've been prone to in the past.

What is an ASR module?
If I have water in my ear, is it safe for me to listen to electronic music?

OK, thanks. (This must be the switch that he just got PCB's for.)

So, does this store and shift a CV then? That would be cool!

Yep! There was quite an interesting thread here about it when the module was initially announced and somebody (sunsinger?) had a prototype. Would be worth searching for.

Here's a link to info about the Stone/CGS ASR:

...and a discontinued module from Cynthia:

I do remember someone specifically wanting through-hole boards done at the start because they would be "servicable for 50+ years". Then the Time Modules happened... heh heh heh.

I don't know what an analog shift register is but ... Is it still happening and coming to euro? I'll be sure to check it out.
