I'll just write everything I see:

Model No: APX412055
Input: 120V AC 60Hz 11W
Output: 15V AV 500mA
Class 2 Transormer

Let me know where you find a place that sells replacements. I've always been curious but too fat to look around google.

- is half the important bits - what is the polarity of it?

FYI the 15v 0.5A specs means that universal wall wart thingies will work here.

I think that it is supposed to be "AC". Therefore, no polarity need apply here.

Intact Herman at Sherman directly. That's what I did. He responded super fast and helped me sort out the problem of a bad online vendor sending me the wrong one (sent 12v not required 15v). It will take some time to get to the States but I just feel better getting one from manufacturer when possible.

I bought a replacement from Big City Music last year, it worked perfectly.

For some reason it never occurred to me to contact Sherman... That's probably the best route, but options are always good.

Bumping this up top - Are there any US based vendors with a comparable adapter?
