Bug Vid: Floating Steel

Post by djangosfire » Tue Oct 04, 2011 4:05 pm

I was about to tear down this patch on my bug system - decided to play a few minutes first.

Here is the result - 100% BugBrand Modular - metallic and evolving timbre goodness!

PS - I know... I'm supposed to be taking a break . . . I couldn't resist :deadbanana:

A little R&R is good for the body

A little Bugmodular is good for the soul

Nice patch
I'm looking for nothing at this moment in time

Oh yes!
These are really wonderful rich FM tones.
Makes me sad that I haven't currently got a ring-mod in my setup.

And glad you're using the Active Switch in such interesting & suitable sequencing applications.

Thumbsup!

PS - I like the way at the end how the VCA (or LPG / whatever) 'initial' level comes up - I've been doing something similar quite often recently, using a DD2 DC mixer before the VCA mod input - slow LFO slightly modulating into one input and then the Envelope into the 2nd DC input. (add modulation of the ENV decay and you're in to heaven!)

I feel the same way! Maybe that means it's time to do up some more DD1 modules? I could use another LPG that goes with it as well. :hail:

I'm glad you couldn't! It's like a commercial for Bug modulars. Great! :sb:

reminds me slightly of some of my own stuff, but more melodic (and better).
NOISE HEALS.
patch responsibly.

nice, and the delay sounds quite good as a delay doesn't it?

I've never actually tried to use as one, I just use mine as wobbly stereo fuckeruppers

Damn that was nice, great sounds and well played.

As ever Adam, I take my hat off to you.

I'd like to get to know you but I haven't got the time,
You got to walk like a mannequin, roll like a tyre,
Act on reaction dodge the big spud fryer
