hordes of chaos

Post by helitron » Fri Apr 17, 2009 1:45 pm

UPDATE june 09: finished ;)

Image[/url]

more pics here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/helitron/

Contains Wogglebug, ChaQuo, Noise Cornucopia, MFOS S&H and Plague Bearer. Now I need to get used to it :nana:
I skipped the MFB midi/cv psu - power comes from the noise koffer.

hel,

old post:
I am planing to make something out of the populated boards hanging around without beeing used.
since there is no more space in my modular case, i am going to fit them into a small desktop enclosure.
power will come from the MFB midi/cv psu that they use in the kraftzwerg synth.

its going to be a chaos/mayhem machine

well, here's the frontpannel design for now - guess the modules ;)

Cool! I was planning on doing something like this, smaller auxcillary boxes that I can connect to the larger case(s) for power, but which can be left of, or run independant, like an external module of modules :omg:

I really like the design / knob layout, I think it will be a great instument once you've got inside it :D

A worthy partner for the noise koffer!

hi kidtesla,

i got the knobs from bazai Music in Germany
http://www.banzaieffects.com/Eagle-knob ... 17444.html

shold be available from other custom guitar shops - just look for fluted eagle knobs.

thanks guys!

@b3nsf: yes, printed backwards on overhead foil. well if you look close enough you see that some holes dont fit to the mechanical parts (especially at some pots). thats because I drilled by hand and didn't have anything to fix the plate.

however, thats not a permanent solution since I also forgot to add two outputs. Just need to convert the design to HPGL and let Schaeffer make me a new frontplate.
