Back to the bug

Post by tIB » Sun Oct 30, 2011 10:06 am

Re-acquainting myself after a week on a small boat in norfolk.

Lots going on, most of it bug with lots of stuff processing it.

Good to be back.

Nice & immersive.

Two questions on what-is-what (are they bug-sounds)
- the whip-crack-snare from the start?
- the kicky bass drum?

Goods!

Have you been cutting plasterers up again?
Oh you got a Nickel, I got a Dime,
I'd like to get to know you but I haven't got the time,
You got to walk like a mannequin, roll like a tyre,
Act on reaction dodge the big spud fryer

tom you picked out the only two parts that arent bug- snare thing is noise through spring reverb through shermann filterbank, the bass drum is jomox mbass... nice solid kick, good to have it back after losing my xbase last year.

that snare sound scares the shit out of the dog!
