AM8075SE vs. AM8012

Post by humboldt » Sat May 05, 2012 1:23 am

I want my eurorack to be the next best thing to a real Odyssey. So im excited by these AM synths modules. Im planning to buy a pair of the upcoming ARP Oscillators. But which filter to buy?

Can anyone provide a comparison of these two? :despair:

Well neither have hit the market so we don't know what they will sound like exactly. The AM8012 is the "Blue Meanie" copied Moog filter design from the 2600 not also on the Odyssey, so in answer to your question regarding the Odyssey, the AM8075SE is a later Odyssey filter.
