So I have this modular case:

And I made a panel for the bottom part, that I drilled:

And I filled in two FoH joysticks, 6 manual gates with attenuators and 4 separate attenuators:

Nope, it's all diy, but it's the hardware I got from Flight.

Wiring won't be done for like a week or so, got a few projects to finish before that, as you may know :-)

Here it is, stuffed back into the case - sorry about the blurrrrrrrrrrrr:

Gotta love the knob upgrade :tu:

The real question is, of course, whats going in that blank spot above the vertical rails!?!

A big LED matrix & a shit tonne of logic perhaps? Analog computers FTW!

no, both the joystick and the attenuators AND the arcade button gates will be normalled-wired to a +-5v source.

well, the astute viewer will note that part of that gap will remain a gap, in order to provide space for the joysticks below when the case is closed.

Ideas for the rest of the top so far are:
Clocks'n'shit... I might do one of my CGS Pulse Divider and Master Divider panels here.
Matrix Mixer. This would need to recessed a bit, since my controller panel pots are quite tall. But it would be 4*8, most likely.

Advice on what to build there is most welcome, actually!

I've got a few more modules on order for this case, including the a-152, so an 8-way mixer of SOME sort will be wonderful for that.

also, along the "top" edge of the bottom will be a breakout for the 828 which will go inside. (there's a tiny gap, just large enough for a FW cable and a bunch of jacks :tu:

 Of course! I'm a dummy! Anyway. Looks like an ideal spot for things like the Master Divider that don't have knobs tho. Maybe a clutch of Kens Quad Logic boards built in various flavours? or even some Lunetta-esque 5V Shift Registers & Counters perhaps, ideal spot for some blinken :hihi:

:hihi: I have some bright pink & green LEDs on the way for my digital modules :goo:

I need to pick up some 3914s I think! My favourite sequencer at the moment is a 4015 feeding a simple R2R, restrict the shift register to 2 stages & its instant 4 note basslines, no knobs or decisions to make! :nana: :deadbanana:
