Whoa, cool tracks!

I thought Volta didn't work with Numerology. Something changed?

Volta is useless in Numerology because Numerology doesn't currently support AU plug-in auxiliary outputs. But you can generate MIDI in Numerology and pipe it to a host that does support AU aux outs (DP, Logic, Live, etc.) using OS X's IAC MIDI bus.

I'm using Numerology rewired to Digital Performer using the IAC bus, as mentioned and then DP hosts 7 instances of Volta in this case. Sometimes I record Num improvs into DP and then play it back later, but this one was in real time. I'm really happy with the timing considering the piping of info around in real time - it's working really well. I've locked up several MIDI>CV interfaces with this kind of rat-a-tat timing, plus it just never felt as tight, although the MOTM 650 does a damn nice job with MIDI timing IMO.

That's the beauty of IAC busses. They are virtual and therefore not as subject to midi's throughput issues.
