passive device with cv attentuation, ground it?

Post by Johnisfaster » Thu Jul 30, 2009 1:15 am

I'd like to make a simple attenuation/mult/switch board that cv comes out of my modular and through it and back into the modular, I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me if it has to be grounded or not.

what it seems to me is that it doesn't, that it would share the ground with the modular case. thats how my plan b dynamic mult seems to work as it's not grounded. but I just want to make sure this is right before I do anything stupid.

thanks.

you are correct. use the ground from the patchcords shafts.
