Love tho hear your Krells :-)
In my Sooky Krell the Krell machinery controls the frequency of a filter that is half fm modulated half pinged... Does it make sense? Spooky sound anyway. An untuned chord from Jupiter Storm through Doepfer A-101-1 modulated by NLC Sloth (always Sloth). Function in looping mode gives some rythm. Fx Yoyo Analog Delay and Doepfer A-199 spring reverb. The patch has been making its spooky sounds for some hours now. With a pair of Sloth in the patch there is always some thing happening. .

not a true Krell so ill say a pseudo krell with drums added.

walked away from my rack and let it play alone. Not exactly the traditional Krell however uses alot of the same elements.

You guys are too down on yourselves. If it walks like a Krell and quacks like a Krell, it's a Krell. SlayerBadger!

My take on a Krell patch. This used almost my entire rack, mostly Make Noise modules. Noise is courtesy of a Telharmonic and fxdf / rxmx.

Thanks! smile That's all DPO.
cptnal
That's not a DPO, that's real bassoon. I'd swear! Mr. Green

Edit: In fact it's not a bassoon, it's a bass clarinet, which happens to be my favourite instrument (acoustic instrument that is). Mr. Green Mr. Green

After spending the last couple days listening to all this great great stuff, here is my try. All Serge sounds, random LFOs from peaks and turing machine for notes. No wiggling involved hihi
The oscilloscope shows one of the random LFO controlling the looping envelope. Higher curve means more notes generated. Did a short quantised version at the end.

musicalfungus
Totally forgot about this thread. Meant to post this link months ago. This was recorded about 8 months ago. I don't remember the exact patching. But It was not far off from Todd Barton's Easel Krell patch.

Bemi Easel fed into an MXR Reverb, and Carbon Copy Delay pedal.

applause Serge sounds sweet. Love the blues licks (0:40 and elsewhere).

Got myself an Intellijel Shifty! And once you've amused yourself with the Keith Fullarton-Whitman style generators thing for a while, it's time to move on and do your own thing. So during the familiarisation process I started thinking, "this thing is made for Krell!" So here it is...

Sweet! I need to try a shifty out myself.
