Looks like an temp acrylic panel to me.

I do believe you could chain at least a portion of these together.
One reason why I flagged to check out final version when released.

We weren't there. PM is a very small outfit and might not produce any more modules post MIIIIX.

All parts are almost in and the run should be moving very shortly.

With the shown expander you seem to get 4 auxiliary inputs, as well as a send return, with dry/ wet control. In effect that makes it an 8 channel mixer.

Every VCA can be used as an attenuator, so: Yes.

Edit: In fact many VCAs are Voltage Controlled Attenuators rather than Amps.

YES! External ins per channel are at unity.

ALL MIIIIX family modules just about done! Going through calibration and writing the manual(s). Retailers will be getting emails ASAP! Here's a few pics of one all dressed in her finest metal. I really hope appreciation goes into what was put into making this module! Was a long road, but well worth it! Can't wait until they are in user's hands!

Any chance of an approximate price? I'm going to be buying another mixer any day now so the price may make me wait and buy this one. I've already bought 2 from when this was first announced! haha.

MIIIIX is probably more than I need anyway, but I'd like to support SSF and qu.one if I think the price is justified (for my needs).

So sorry about that! Not easy making something this intensive under the hood.

Working out the very final details on price (comparable if not the same than Dubmix)

Remember you're getting much more than just a mixer...!

Im lost but interested as I LOVE the Cloq/Clex combo - Im so glad I swapped out my QCD for it - so Im down with you - whats the range again? I think a refresher may be a good idea

Not exactly directly, since this is not a desktop mixer. Each track has an individual out you can use to preview; or you could use the stereo out as seen in the diagram below to preview more than one tack at a time.

In this example, A is the output for channels 1&2, and A+B is the output used to preview and then pan them to output A when reasy to add to the main mix. You can also use just the B output.
