Eardrill has turned my Bongo Box into a Tabla Box!

I should be sleeping after a long weekend, but I booted up / spent some time with Pendulum/Ratchet... well done Chris! After 1 hour of play this module belongs with the bookla. I have a few questions, but the idiot test is complete... :tu:

I don't / have never had Buchla lust.... but I do have really bad Pendulum/Ratchet lust... really bad! From what I can tell its the awesomest timing / clock / percussion seq'ing module since awesome was invented by Captain Awesome in 19awesome5!!!

Teh interwebs needs more shitty bookla bongobox video! :tu:
I will put up some video tonight...hold tight.

I do need more time to figure out the Division A and B. section with my publik skrool edumacation. :hmm: In my short time with it I gave up and lit up a spliff and pretended I was Alla Rakha...till my Moms walked in on me and told me to go to bed . . .

CBM did an outstanding job of building this thing with the E series form factor . . . - The bar has been raised. :hail: For those who are thinking about a small 6u system...this is the thing to get if your tight on space.

Anyone (i.e. CBM) know if this was originally based on Chris's Gyre controller Max patch? Looks like a lot of rhythmic fun.

I guess I'm on a quest to move as many cool things from Gyre into hardware as possible. :-)

Actually, this was more inspired by some stuff in Gyre, rather than a direct port. The closest thing to a direct port is the pulse density section (tock out).

I'm sorry I'm not set up to do videos, but they will probably be more interesting if someone else does them; at least I'll be more interested in what someone else is doing with the Pendulum/Ratchet.

I had the pleasure of seeing this thing working in the hands of the creator this past weekend and I can attest to it's incredible potential for creating rhythmic and other forms of triggering mayhem. Totally awesome with a capital "A"!

Man, the description on this video had me in stitches. You crack me up all the time, but that was funny. Nice demo, too!

Cheers,
Brian
