Yes, I have begun mentioning a little.. but as the production process is only just starting, not saying all that much for now.

Image
This is the prototype (finally - I went through about 12+ iterations between the beginning of last year!)
Same 3FW box approach to the recent PEQ.
Toggle Time is lost but now the delay is voltage controlled (with pedal input bias too) - DanP just suggested to me a simple switch arrangement using this that'll allow toggle-like operation (though, kludgey-style)
The EQ has come on a long way from the last 2011 PT Delay - I much prefer it now - Hi-pass (lo-cut) and Lo-pass (high-cut) - + the same lovely overloading, though with further circuit approach learnings applied as always.
Very excited to finally get it out, but probably still talking around 1.5 months at a guess.

Here's a few demos recorded last night.
I work in a very quick manner - set a few things up, tweak a little and get straight on to recording! So, recordings are somewhat warty, but hopefully have some FEEL.

Lots of playing with the EQ section + feedback.
And using the Delay Drive control.
Nice & hands on!
Later on I plugged in the FootPedal and then a little bit of LFO CV mod.
Oh, and a little saturation input drive on one of the drum tracks too.

What synth are you using in the first two demos for the chord stabs? Sounds great!

Ha, the clue is in the title --> Roland JX3P

Seen a few come up recently for great value in BST - but they're only really fun when you have the PG200 programmer (or clone / replacement). Still wondering whether to get the Kiwi 3P upgrade... http://www.kiwitechnics.com/jx3pupgrade.htm

A bit unclear, but if it has reverse looping and MIDI sync, I'll buy it right away!

^ No, I'm sure it has an iPad connector on the back for preset management and OSC control. Doesn't it, Tom? It would be soooo nice and slick! And ensure longevity of the product! You could call it iPT Delay!

Sounds great!
I volunteer to provide guitar and bass testing against my old aquapuss.
I'd recommend iPad and USB connectors which imply yet do not deliver connectivity. :hihi:

^ Yes, leave them unconnected on the inside, and then just blame the drivers or the OS developers!

You absolutely should get the upgrade, it's worth every penny!
I made a touchOSC template for mine so I can program it with the iPad.
The chorus mod is great too.

I bought that upgrade for mine but haven't put it in yet. Some asshole stole my PG200 back in like 1989 and I've barely touched the synth since then. Like you say, it's just no fun without it.

But right now the kiwitechnicx programmer is about the same price as the original one's going for. So, once I upgrade to the mod, I'll get the programmer too. Might as well since it is designed to work with all the new mod stuff.

I've been collecting all the bits for a LARGE batch.
Construction is underway.
I even had a stamp made for the box.
Still a little way off but.. getting there!
