Frac 1200 series Wiard repair?

Post by rezzn8r » Thu Mar 14, 2013 9:09 am

Does anyone know who does repair for 1200 series Wiard?
I sent a PM to Grant last week, but didn't get a response.
Does anyone have contact info for Grant, or know of someone doing repairs?
I've got a sick NoiseRing and Borg :waah:

Thanks

Presuming it isn't that the power cables have come loose? That's something of a weak-spot as they're just wires soldered to the PCB - I always add a loop & cable-tie to them to give a little strain relief.

No, I don't think it's the power cable.
I think it's something to do with the clock or shift register on the Noise Ring. All the LEDs light up, but it doesn't run anymore.
The Borg passes audio, but without affecting it. The Peaking LED is full lit all the time regardless of Frequency/Resonance settings.

grant's on FB if you are on there. always responded better to phone calls than emails. you could also try and contact him (he posted in the BST a couple of hours ago) or carey through here.

alas, I don't do Facebook.
I think Carey is 300 series only.
Any idea where I can find a phone number for Grant?

I'm sure you could email Wiard and Cary could point you in the right direction.
