Rozzer Advanced Step Sequencer—Fantastic sequencer that is suitable for acid lines and more complicated stuff. Easy to create variations of patterns.

This is going to sound stoopid but when you download a patch how do you install it and where does it go?

I just created a video that shows exactly how to do this:

Hyakken's stuff is amazing

Christian Klein's Max for Cats: Chord Memorizer and Chord Transposer are used every track

Opfour Tx81z clone is great sounding, very authentic sound to TX81z

Other used stuff all the time include following sequencers: ML-185, Rozzer, Mono sequencer, Hyakken's sequencers

This is amazing. Some sync issues but I'm hopeful they will be ironed out. I love Grids but I like software for drums (and give Mutable my money for other stuff).

funny when i was discussing grids oliver was sure there was a software equivilent to grids which there kinda is but not really and why I wanted grids. Now I can forgo grids and use this via silent way and grab another Peaks or Tides - I call that a triple win

The sync issues where caused by Max's Javascript.
Henri has now ported it to C and is rock solid. Also the euclidian mode now works.

this is super useful for using multiple grid controllers (push, launchpad etc) with live

Guys, IRCAM's work on Max and M4L is really amazing and absolutely professional quality, in some aspect pretty obscure if you are not Max competent, but you should dive in that sea…..

Yes I just noticed that Ircamax 1 pack. Interesting - if a little expensive - but so is GRM tools I guess.

Has anyone mentioned polyrhythmus yet?

Really deep and musical polyrhythmic sequencer, quite hard to get your head around at first, but capable of some really complex and beautiful patterns.

yep, convolution reverb seems totally awesome. arguably better than some vst plugins.

i also love Cartesian sequencer, m4l clone of Make Noise René. don't have money to buy original hardware unit but playing with this little m4l-device makes me feel fine Dead Banana

Someone has created a M4L device that mimics the functionality of Mutable Instruments' Grids;

not had a go with it yet...

From the description it sounds very much like what they have implemented in 7. As you say - worth a try - particularly on Max 6.

Was really blown away by these devices. They are the best tape delay and spring reverb emulations I've ever heard. I suspect I can stop lusting after a Chorus Echo now.

these are great. the little arrow that kicks out the panel for extra functions is essentially a whole other set of FX.. can turn magnetic into something totally different. really awesome.
