Anyone else heard this? Probably my favourite record of the year so far. Dark, droney acid created using loads of 303s, 606s, 808s etc.

I'd definitely recommend it, certainly sounds relevant to quite a few wigglers interests.

Superb album,

I am a big fan of his, the album is all live hardware jams too with crackly pots included in some tracks. Been listening to it alot recently, nice and dubby.

Thanks for the Spotify link 4secloop, I couldn't find it on RDIO. Love this stuff and am enjoying this release immensely.

absolutely loving this too. picked up the mp3s on a whim from boomkat but have put away the vinyl in my local shop too. it's begging to be played out loud!

hope to see this done live in the next year.

I can only imagine how deep and rumbly this would be in a live setting oootini, I'd love to experience that too.

Nice (but short) youtube vid of a live performance, would love to hear this on a nice soundsystem too, hopefully someone books him for a UK date in the not too distant future.

That set-up would tear the club up in Detroit VCOscillator. Thanks for linking.

Yip, proper hardware set! I highly recommend his youtube channel, lots of live hardware jams usually with multiple 303/606/202s (as you would expect from the track titles from this album!) and space echos - http://www.youtube.com/user/repeatle?feature=watch

This one is actually on the album -

Good call VCOscillator, I subbed to his channel.

I know Andreas, he's a great guy, produced my first demo ten years ago. He's very prolific with everything from abstract electronica to pop music.

Before this, I used to like his dubby live sessions best. But TM404 beats anything else he's done IMO.

Be sure to look up Dungeon Acid, an acid project by another Swedish electronic music veteran living in Stockholm – Jean–Louis Huhta.

Yeah, Dungeon Acid is good, got into him via a remix on the Blondes record. Totally makes it his own.
mrbloor
Sold my 707 to him, like his stuff
Spacey Blurr
I love that dude's youtube channel.

I'll have to check out the album someday.

I'm glad there is someone out in the world doing this today.

I've been wondering if I'd see it mentioned here since the aesthetic is pure gearhead.

It's a great album though - hits all the right spots, consistently enjoyable. One of my faves so far this year.

beautiful stuff...
Ray Diode
wonderful album - thanks for the heads up on this!

And if you enjoy TM404 be sure not to miss Morphosis' Korg Response, remixes using only Korg gear instead of the classic Roland machines.

we're not worthy

new one is fantastic.

Nice stuff, great programming, pleasant to listen to. Way more interesting than the gear-fetish vids had me thinking it would be.
gonya
Seriously..
also check out his Svaag EP on Semantica from last year... seriously killer stuff.
maurice
he should use VSTs they are easier to travel with
